Founded by international award-winning choreographer Brittany Fegans, BFC offers a modern training model focused on artistic identity, technical excellence, and real-world exposure.

Louis Pearson | COMPANY DIRECTOR
Louis Pearson, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, is a Chicago-based dance artist. He began training locally before competing and graduating from Pittsburgh CAPA in 2017. He earned his BFA in Dance and Performance from University of the Arts in 2021, training under Donna Faye-Burchfield and performing works by notable choreographers. Louis trained at Ballet X on full scholarship and has danced with South Chicago Dance Theater and Deeply Rooted Dance Theater.
A Training Model That Honors Balance
Unlike most programs, BFC does not train on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. This intentional structure allows dancers the freedom to rest, connect with family, travel, or explore outside training opportunities - while maintaining BFC as their creative home base.
Partnership-Driven Development
Through exclusive partnerships with leading choreographers and creative institutions, BFC dancers receive elite-level training across genres. And while dancers are encouraged to train outside of BFC, this happens under the guidance of Brittany Fegans, who curates and oversees each dancer's path to ensure their outside training meets the highest standard.
